Opened on January 23rd 2003, just in time to celebrate Australia Day on the 26th, The Woolshed quickly became the place for Aussies, Kiwis and South Africans to congregate and watch Southern Hemisphere sports.

Over the years we expanded the range of sports and events we offered to attract customers from all over the world, and have become the home from home for many supporters clubs.

One of the sports to really grow in following over the years has been NFL and College football, there will be more games on our screens during the season than any other bar in the country, we even have a designated NFL room decked out with all the teams logos.

With food served from 12noon every day until 10pm every night (and 11pm during NFL season) you'll never go hungry. There is an extensive burger menu but also pizzas, salads and the best chicken wings in town!

The Woolshed has always stayed up to date with the very latest in technology in order to provide the best coverage of your game. We know how important your sport is to you!

So whether rugby is your obsession and you want a great view of the 6 Nations, Pro 14, SupeRugby, or you live and breathe football and can't miss a match in the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Eredivise, Brazilian League, Ligue 1, if it's on we'll show it.

We've never forgotten our Antipodean roots and still show AFL, NRL and Currie Cup. If you're looking for somewhere to watch Wallabies v All Blacks at 11am on a Saturday morning, we've got it and it'll be on our massive HD screens for you.

So if sport isn't your thing but you enjoy a night out in a really friendly bar then we've still got something for you. There is an event on every night and all are free entry, from Comedy to Pub Quiz, Brazilian Party, Karaoke and our famous Rock Star Bingo, with our resident DJ playing the tunes on a Saturday night you'll be spoilt for choice.

The Woolshed carries an extensive range of bottled beers from around the world, with an emphasis on Aussie, Kiwi and S.African products and also a good selection of craft on draft.

And as we are all about the good times we’ll always have some great deals going on with our drinks as well as special offers Monday to Thursday on our food menu.
